make you feel that way

I'm back from my trip to Taiwan that consisted of food, food and food.
Japanese food is the best in Taiwan. can't get any better
Didn't buy much there at all though, only scored a couple bottles of Essie nail polish
Taiwan is a great place for food, chilling, drinks and partying but def not shopping. hahah (i mean, they dont even have Zara there! Or H&M...or any nice clothing brands...really)
BUT, it was a very good trip otherwise, and bought some DVD's too. Bookstores in Taiwan are awesome btw, I could hide there all day with books in my hand and iced tea in the other (cause there is a really nice cafe in the store as well) :D
Anyhow, I just got my wisdom tooth taken out today so I feel rather....numb right now. hahah guess the medicine hasn't gone away yet

But nonetheless,  here are my weekly favorites!
Barbara Martelo

Christine Centenera

Celine leather jacket

The Givenchy's I tried on...so beautiful and they were on sale! But the only pairs left were in black...I love them so muchh.

Her crazy drop dead gorgeous shoe collection, my favorites are the purples that are second on the left and the red/grey ones that are first on the right.

& in my point of view, THE perfect denim shorts. I'm still searching for denim shorts that fits perfectly...ugh

Perfect leopard maxi dresses

Taylor Tomasi
I love the Dries Van Noten shirt she's wearing

Love all of their outfits, esp the bell bottoms! I'm gonna get my bell bottoms altered before I leave. heheh
Rachel Bilson will always be one of my favorite celebrities. She got great style, great personality and she got beautiful features.

Natalia Alaverdian
<3 her style.

Killer semi-see through maxi.

I can't explain how much I'm in love with Christine Centenera's army/dark forest green jacket. Makes me want to dig all my clothes for fall out of my closet and start wearing them even though its 33 degrees Celsius outside. hahahaha

Last but not least, my fav: Anna Dello Russo

Artys & Daisies

This is the first outfit post I've done ever since...May. Feels weird cause I haven't done one in so long, but at the same time it feels like I never stopped. Part of the reason why I did not do outfit posts for so long was that I lived in Beijing for about 3 months due to my internship. And in Beijing, Blogspot, Twitter, Facebook & a couple of other websites are blocked. I came back to HK about 3 weeks already, but also flew to Singapore for a week, so I didn't have much spare time in my hands

I'm flying again tmr, so I hope to make another outfit post when I come back to HK next week ;)

My outfit consisted of my Miu Miu's that I'm crazily in love with. hehehe ;)
As well as my YSL arty ring that I got. I consider it a miracle that they restored in the YSL flagship stores in HK & I'm secretly hoping that the coral color is still in stores, cause I really want one more. :P
To finish it off, I paired my outfit with a Miu Miu clutch, random rings and a F21 shirt & jeans.
I love my new Aviators from F21 in Singapore. Still looking for Rayban wayfarers, but I'm starting to like a pair of shades I saw at the Tom Ford store the other day...its so hard to decidee.

Here are the awesome shots taken by my sis!

{Clogs- Miu Miu, Clutch- Miu Miu, Arty Ring- YSL, Button down, Denim & Aviators- F21, Rings- My Mom's & Random Stores}

Again, sorry for not writing an outfit post for so long, but these posts will resume very very soon. :)

Lastly, a nice house tune that I discovered in my iTunes yesterday

Some of my favorite jams

I know this is a fashion blog, but music has always been a huge part of my life too.
By that I mean I can't live without my ipod at anytime & place (I even listen to music sometimes while I'm sleeping) hahaha. I always have to have my music pumped to the highest volume, and love searching for new songs that hasn't even been discovered yet :D

I'm a junkie for hip-hop, electro, house & occasional R&B songs that turns out to be amazing
Lately, I've been listening to house music nonstop,
and one of my dreams are to see these DJ's (Davia Guetta, Tiesto, Deadmau5, Kaskade, Edward Maya) performing live. Wouldn't it be awesome watching them play live in a club in Ibiza?! It would be like a dream come true!!
But yes the point of this post is that there is one electro tune that I just started falling in love with, and I thought that I should share it on my blog. It's in Step Up 3 too, which by the way is an amazing film.

I will post more of my favorite tunes later. But enjoy this for now, Fancy Footwork by Chromeo

Some pics from the Burberry Prorsum
F/W 10/11 Campaign

Dark colors, Military coats, Oversized bags, Trenches and Shearling Jackets- The key to winter 2010. Love all the garments photographed in the campaign

another tune that I love
Love is Gone by David Guetta
This song is beyond amazing, I love listening to it with the highest volume set and letting the beats blast through my headphones

Designer Lust

Items that I'm in love with at the moment:

I'm seriously considering getting the Jeffrey Campbell Lita's as a birthday present for myself....they're too gorgeous to give up on. Question is, black or brown? I'm leaning towards the black...
I can never get enough of the YSL arty rings, I have one in green but I still love all the colors. And the Pamela Love double cage ring & cross ring are just tooo....beautiful, but they are pretty pricey too I would say.
I also love the Low Luv by Erin Wasson jewelery line, and really tempted to get the oversize cross necklace.

If you had a choice of
Proenza Schouler bag in black, Alexander Wang Rocco in beige-ish grey & Yves Saint Laurent Small Easy in Black with studs (not pictured in the image below)- all perfect bags, but which one would you pick??
I always loved chunky knit sweaters for fall breezes, leopard wedges and looove funky nail polish colors. Too bad the Chanel nail polish was sold out already, got 2 other shades of blue from Essie instead.

The video is the song "Find Your Love" by Drake aka Drizzy. If you follow me on Twitter you will know that I'm absolutely in love with him and his singing just keeps you wanting to put his tunes on repeat.

Hope everyone is having a good week! I'm heading to Taiwan on Sunday ;)

Lazy...Monday

(via Jak&Jil, The Sartorialist, Stockholm Streetstyle, Studded Hearts & the others are random)

My weekly batch of random photos that I thought were very well shot and inspired me. My favorites are the photos of Natalia Alaverdian with her leopard clutch, belt, white tee & studded pants combination because it turns simplicity into a statement. The belt put me to a loss of words, love the metallic plates and details on it. I am desperately trying to find the oversized framed black shades in  photo #4. I have those in grey but I NEED them in black...ahh and finding things in Hong Kong can become annoying when you have to spend half of the time explaining to the sales what you are looking for. Ugh. The Miu Miu clogs are the ones that I purchased back in May, and I really need to do a photoshoot with those before I leave. On the other hand, I'm currently looking for a pair of oversized Rayban wayfarers in black but it seems that the couple stores that I visited so far only sell fairly unattractive Rayban sunglasses instead of the classic Aviators or Wayfarers. Ahh the search continues

PS: I changed up my blog layout again, and I'm going to find another background image soon. but so far this is my favorite banner I have created because its simple and shows my love for Italy and fashion.

"Amore per la moda"
will be my official blog name from now on. :)

I've been obsessed with this song for about 3 months. Its amazing.
